Associate Attorney Responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with clients and opposing counsel. Perform settlement negotiations. Review court documents. Draft and file responsive pleadings. Identify unfair debt collection practices. Perform other duties as required and assigned. Qualifications: Preferably 1+ years of litigation experience. Juris Doctor from ABA law school. Licensed in Georgia (required) and one or more (preferred) of the following states: AL, AK, AZ, CO, ID, IN, KY, ME, MA, MN, MO, NM, OH, OK, RI, SC, TX, UT or WY; Preference will be given to applicants having: Debt Settlement, Bankruptcy, FDCPA, and/or other consumer civil litigation experience. Multiple active state bar licenses (from the list above). Ability to waive into additional jurisdictions as needed (i.e. recent passage of the UBE or admission for at least 5 years).
