Attorney The candidate will draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs. Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action. Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings. Take responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients and completing tasks. Identify client conflicts and determine case strategies with options for resolution. Build client cases, verifying that all client injuries, damages, and other losses have been documented and are being presented for maximum recovery. Develop a strategic approach and provide leadership and direction to paralegals and legal assistants. Analyze case-specific legal issues and documentation (e.g. insurance policies, lien language, settlement releases). Regularly consult with clients, adjusters, experts, and other parties as needed to effectively move cases forward to settlement. Foster and maintain an excellent rapport with clients through consistent communication and thorough advisement. Appear on virtual and in-person depositions and hearings. Should have 1-2 years of experience doing personal injury cases. Must be a licensed lawyer in Colorado. Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed. Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must. Must be a member of your local bar association - active member preferred. Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years and a plus. Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
