Workers Compensation Paralegal The candidate will review new cases within your realm of responsibility in an effort to pinpoint pre-litigation problems/special situations bring these issues up to your attorney for direction. Will establish contact and maintain a working relationship with your clients via telephone/e-mail/in-person meetings. Will ensure your clients are receiving the proper medical care for their injuries. Will follow cases closely to ensure you are in receipt of all pertinent documentation at the appropriate time for demand preparation. Will timely communicate with insurance adjusters via demand packages and negotiation follow-up with your attorney. Will timely complete settlement procedures with clients. Will timely complete medical bill reductions in an effort to maximize client satisfaction via higher amounts due to those clients. Will timely close client trust accounts after all outstanding medical bills are paid. Will timely close out unprofitable files. Will complete blue list for administration. Will keep track/complete relevant checklist items. The candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have high school or equivalent. Must have strong computer skills with all Microsoft Office Suite products. Must be able to work independently on multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Must be able to think quickly and respond appropriately to unexpected situations. Must have previous Case Manager experience. Should have knowledge of Needles software a plus. Should have worker's Compensation Law knowledge and experience.
