Legal Secretary The candidate will report to the Supervising Attorney. Will provide administrative support in the areas of estate planning, probate, elder law, guardianship, and special needs planning. Draft and finalize correspondence and other documents. Pick up, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail. Open, maintain, and close client files, per Firm procedure. Handle general administrative duties, such as filing, scanning, copying, faxing, etc. Data entry. Interact with clients, court personnel, and related parties via telephone and email. Manage calendars and schedule appointments. Prepare routine probate forms and other court documents. Coordinate office maintenance and physical operation of a small office. High School diploma or equivalent is required. Must have 5+ years of administrative experience. Experience in a legal setting a plus. Should have high level of computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft products, specifically Word and Outlook. Experience with client management systems preferred.
