Legal Assistant Paralegal The candidate should have 1-3 years of office experience. The firm practices in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, corporate transactions, estate planning, commercial litigation, and other various fields of practice. The position entails tasks such as drafting correspondence, communicating with lenders and attorneys, billing and collection, preparing mailings, organizing files, maintaining and managing the firm's calendar, client contact, answering the telephone to relieve the receptionist when on break and other administrative tasks as assigned. Requirements: Must be highly organized, motivated, dependable, quick learner, detail-oriented, positive attitude and able to multi-task and shift priorities. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be able to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, and Excel. Efficiently communicating with co-workers, clients, other attorneys, and lenders required. Meet deadlines in a timely manner required. Working with senior attorneys and paralegals to perform tasks as required.
