Associate Attorney - Litigation The candidate will work on litigation matters which may include commercial disputes, insurance defense, workers compensation defense, professional negligence defense, products liability, and other civil matters. Duties include performing legal research, preparing legal memoranda, motions, briefs, and pleadings, making court appearances at hearings and trial, handling discovery, and taking and defending depositions. Court room and deposition experience required. Trial experience preferred. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications. Must have Law degree from accredited U.S. law school. Should have Active licensure to practice law in Missouri and Kansas. Must have 3+ years of litigation experience, including handling court appearances and depositions. Should have excellent analytical, research, and writing skills. Must have strong organizational and communication skills. Desire to take advantage of business development and practice growth opportunities.
