Probate and Trust Administration Paralegal The candidate will serve as primary client contact, which includes identifying and resolving issues, and owning responsibility for accurate and timely deliverables. Manage meetings and communication with clients, client advisors, and beneficiaries. Will be conducting client intake meetings with or without the attorney. Drafting pleadings, notices to interested persons and managing creditor's claims. Meeting with clients to review and execute documents. Conducting legal research. E-filing pleadings and other documents with various Clerks of Court around Florid. Case/file management: ensuring matters, case files, and electronic file database are organized and updated. Document management: PDF conversion, scanning, review, and organization of documents. Assisting attorney with preparation for various court appearances. The candidate must have three to five(3-5) years A? experience working with estates and trust administration. Associate preferred. Must have a working knowledge of the Florida Probate Code. Able to understand the process of civil litigation, specifically, wrongful death litigation, as it relates to estate administration. Must have a desire and experience to handle and understand probate litigation, including the rules of civil procedure. Must have exemplary communication skills and ability to quickly build rapport with clients, attorneys, and colleagues. Able to bring a self-developed system for managing deadlines and paperwork. Be willing to learn and use any case management or project management software used by the firm. Able to serve as primary client contact, which includes identifying and resolving issues, and owning responsibility for accurate and timely deliverables. Able to manage meetings and communication with clients, client advisors, and beneficiaries. Have a strong ability to multitask and work on short-term and long-term projects simultaneously. Have the ability to effectively respond to urgent situations that require a quick response or turnaround. Must be a registered Notary Public; Remote Online Notary (RON) certification a plus. Be proficient in Microsoft Office 360 Suite products, including but not limited to: Outlook, Teams, and Adobe. Preference will be given to candidates who possess a working knowledge of, or prior experience with Needles Database.
