Legal Secretary / Paralegal The candidate will communicate with clients, law offices and courts. Will draft letters, pleadings, subpoenas and requests for medical records. Answer phones, distribute mail, document filing and assembly. Review documents for grammatical/formatting errors. Maintain attorneys calendars and scheduling. Maintain reception area, conference room and copy room. Process vendor invoices, order office supplies, etc. Assist attorneys in preparing for court appearances, depositions and meetings. Open new client/matter engagements, maintain electronic and paper client files. High school diploma or equivalency is an mandatory. Should have 2+ years law office experience. Experience in Workers Compensation preferred, personal injury experience is a plus. Knowledge of WebFile and CLIO is a plus.
