Associate Attorney Candidate will work with 2 senior attorneys in a fast-paced plaintiff's employment litigation environment. Will: Managing multiple client case files. Drafting and filing complaints. Drafting and filing various pleadings and motions practice. Drafting and responding to written discovery. Preparing for and handling depositions. Conducting witness interviews. Preparing EEOC position statements. Preparing employment and severance agreements. Communicating with courts and opposing parties. Preparing for mediation. Legal research. Client communication. Preparing for and assisting at trial. Candidate must have experience with employment litigation, including discovery and motions practice. 2-3 years of experience and a Georgia Bar license in good standing are required (or ability to obtain immediate reciprocity). Preferred Qualifications: Civil litigation and federal court experience, including motions for summary judgment. Employment law experience, including the handling of Title VII as well as state and federal whistleblower claims. Experience preparing for and assisting at trial preferred. Experience in e-discovery and trial software. Excellent communication skills. Time management and organizational skills.
