Attorney Duties: Will be responsible for handling cases, from sign up to appeal. Fight financial institutions, sue for illegal and unfair debt collections practices, and help people save their homes from foreclosure. appropriate follow-up questions; focus on serving our clients; focus on treating our clients as they would want to be treated; focus on treating our clients cases as they would want their case treated; understand the fact that every conversation with a client, judge, or potential client; answer the phone with a smile on their face.
Qualifications: 3+ years in civil litigation. Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, PACER, Westlaw, Florida s E-Filing Portal, and all South Florida county official records and court records websites. Extremely organized; have excellent written and verbal communication skills; have an exception eye for details; carefully proofread to avoid typos; excel at following detailed written procedures, which we have for most functions in the office; when faced with a situation for which there are no written procedures, are quick to analyze various factors, come up with the best solution, and then suggest a new written procedure should that situation arise again; have confidence to act on their own when appropriate; are competent; multi-task extremely well; hate a slow-paced environment; are proficient with computers and troubleshooting various hardware and software issues; perform all repetitive tasks right every time; excel at dealing with difficult clients; have a positive mindset; have a survivor mindset; want to keep growing personally and professionally; are self-honest and willing to work hard to do what it takes to keep growing; want to contribute to the world; show up to work on time; work from 9 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. during the week; as needed, work late and on weekends; keep the rest of the team informed about their workload (if too much work is creating a possibility that deadlines will be missed or if too little work is not keeping them busy); are thoughtful and considerate of other team members; enjoy a team approach and team environment; want to be held accountable by others and will call others out who need to be held accountable; are great listeners; understand that law office is a business.
