Paid time off Paralegal/Legal Assistant Position The Law Firm of Nancy L. Cavey is seeking a qualified Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join its team in Saint Petersburg, FL. This position is full-time and offers a competitive salary of $35,617 - $42,893 a year. Job Responsibilities: * Assist the attorneys in all aspects of client management, including drafting and filing documents, communicating with clients, and conducting legal research. * Organize, maintain, and update case files and other legal documents. * Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling and calendar management. * Work with clients and potential clients to provide legal advice and assistance. * Assist with preparation for hearings, depositions, and other court proceedings. * Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs. * Manage the attorney's case load and ensure that all deadlines are met. * Conduct research and prepare legal memorandums. * Maintain *** a year. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, positive team member, detail oriented, able to multi-task, work independently, computer literate, dependable, patient, and courteous. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office & Outlook are preferred.
