Part-time Legal Secretary The candidate will communicate with clients, law offices and courts. Will draft letters, pleadings, subpoenas and requests for medical records. Answer phones, distribute mail, document filing and assembly. Review documents for grammatical/formatting errors. Maintain attorneys calendars and scheduling. Maintain reception area, conference room and copy room. Process vendor invoices, order office supplies, etc. Assist attorneys in preparing for court appearances, depositions and meetings. Open new client/matter engagements, maintain electronic and paper client files. Other tasks as requested. High school diploma or equivalency is mandatory. Should have 2+ years of law office experience. Experience in Workers Compensation is preferred, personal injury experience is a plus. Knowledge of WebFile and CLIO is a plus. Strong writing, grammar, typing, organizational and communication skill is required.
