Family Law Paralegal The candidate will track and gather documentation, scheduling and conducting hearings and ensuring that cases are filed. Prepare and draft motions, pleadings, judgments and other correspondence (e.g. debt and asset lists, witness statements, responsive pleadings, etc.). Serve as a liaison between the client and attorney, conducting client interviews. Prepare trial binders and provide assistance in trial. Prepare and review discovery packages, including disclosure statements and responses to production requests. Maintain attorney calendars and case files. Schedule appointments, court appearances, and deposition hearings. Should preferably have 5+ years of experience working as a paralegal in a family law office setting.
