Legal Assistant/Paralegal Responsibilities : Will answer telephone, mail, fax, FedEx etc. Draft letters and motions. Communicate with attorneys, clients, and third parties. Process and prepare all incoming, outgoing mail. Schedule meetings, maintain attorney calendars. Prepare trial binders, documents for filing and service. Provide administrative support to attorneys and staff where needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Prepare and review legal documents, all stages of litigation. Prepare and follow-up on obtaining documents. Responsible for calendaring and maintaining client docket. Trial/Mediation/Deposition preparation and attendance.
Requirements : Must have an associates degree. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent required. At least 1 year experience in a professional office environment (law firm experience preferred). Spanish skills required. Ability to multi-task, solve problems quickly and effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong work ethic. Must be dependable.
