Associate Attorney The candidate will be representing unions in grievance and interest arbitration cases, unfair labor practice and representation cases before the NLRB and state agencies such as the Oregon Employment Relations Board, civil cases in federal and state courts when necessary, and appellate cases. Will also assist or serve as the chief negotiator for unions in collective bargaining with employers and provide general advice to unions on a wide variety of topics. Must have 2+ years of experience. Must be licensed in Oregon or have the ability to obtain admission by reciprocity in Oregon by the time of hire. Licensed in ID, WA, AK, CO, NV, or CA is preferred. Should have strong academic credentials and excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be professional, comfortable working with clients of all backgrounds, and be able to exercise independent judgment while knowing when to ask for assistance from colleagues/partners.
