The Associate Attorney will perform professional civil municipal legal work involving a wide variety of legal issues, cases, and projects. Attorneys in this classification will work independently on legal matters and will work with more experienced attorneys on more complex legal matters. Job Requirements The Associate Attorney will be expected to provide solid legal advice and assistance in the following areas of municipal law: * Public Information Act * Contracts * Labor and Employment * Litigation * Court Prosecution * Real Estate * Eminent Domain * Environmental * Finance * Constitutional Law * Statutory Interpretation and Compliance * Land Use Qualifications: * A J.D. degree form an ABA-accredited law school * A current bar admission * A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a practicing attorney or an attorney currently employed in a city or county government * Trial and trial preparation experience is a plus * Superior written and oral communication skills Compensation & Benefits The successful candidate will be provided a rewarding career and opportunity in a welcoming environment.
