Family Law Paralegal The candidate duties will include: Preparation of initial, temporary, and final pleadings, including discovery and inventories. Strict adherence to case and time sensitive deadlines. Assist with maintaining office calendar. Assist with filing and setting hearings. Maintain case status log. Maintain professional and courteous relationship with Court personnel, opposing counsel/parties, and clients. Serve as back-up during absence of office staff. Minimal clerical work may be required. Must have 2 years experience, as family law paralegal. Must be familiar with Word and Excel. Should have strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Must be familiar with Court procedures for filing and setting hearing. Familiar with the Texas Family Code and Practice Manual. Should have High School Diploma. Paralegal certificate and/or degree preferred but can be substituted with work experience.
