Associate Attorney Duties: Represent clients in legal matters either independently or under the supervision of a partner or senior associate. Provides effective legal consultation, services and advice to clients, and represents clients in state and federal court and agency litigation/proceedings, at a level consistent with his or her level of Prepares all legal documents necessary for the effective representation of clients (including, but not limited to, memoranda, legal briefs, opinion letters, and/or general correspondence). Qualifications: Good standing (at all times) with the California State Bar and all state and federal courts to which the Firm requires admission, including completing required continuing legal education. 1 year of employment Law experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a clear and pleasant. Knowledge of the current Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint). Ability to negotiate vendor. Knowledge of QuickBooks and Peachtree, Microsoft and Adobe. Ability to type 60. Commitment to the mission and goals of. Excellent verbal and written communication. Assertive personality and self-starter mentality. Courteousness, tact and a professional. Strong organization, time management and prioritization. Good discretion when handling confidential documents and Common sense, flexibility and the ability to work in both an individual and team. Positive and approachable attitude.
