Legal Secretary The candidate will join firm with established litigation, estate planning, employment and business transaction departments. Preparing pleadings, correspondence and proofs of service for filing in state and federal courts. Editing and formatting documents to conform to firm and legal styles. Calendaring legal dates and deadlines. Communicating with clients, attorneys, vendors, and court personnel. Maintaining electronic case files and limited hard-copy archives. Monitoring and ensuring compliance with state and federal rules and procedures. Assisting with administrative tasks and special/miscellaneous projects as needed.
