Law Clerk Attorney The candidate will review and analyze complex legal documents and write clear concise reports based on in-depth research on individuals and/or corporate entities with established deadlines. Apply excellent proofreading and editing skills to case-writing content and other materials. Document information and findings as needed to prepare reports, support findings, etc. Analyze and summarize collected data, legal reports and public records covering all phases of an investigation. Keep abreast with the latest tools and applications on the internet and use them to optimize searches. Identify keywords of the required information and use them to harvest maximum information. Check the accuracy of the data on the websites by comparing various websites and databases. Works with other staff members as required, sharing information and collaborating on projects, assignments or specific research tasks. Should have 2 years of experience in legal document review or 2 years of experience in a professional writing role. Should have demonstrated knowledge of legal terms. Must have thorough understanding of legal and other types of public records, including law enforcement reports, civil and criminal court records, business records, and social media. Skills: Excellent written and verbal English and communication skills, including composition/grammar, vocabulary, spelling and punctuation skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Inquisitive and detail-oriented, with strong analytical, note-taking, and summarization skills; ability to follow company protocols and formats. Strong internet research and computer application skills. Strong oral and written communication skills.
