Tax Attorney The candidate will assist the clients in all aspects of tax law and litigation, including experience in partnership and real estate taxation, planning and structuring tax outcomes, drafting joint venture agreements for real estate investments, income tax, and organizational taxation. Will be given significant client contact and will work closely with firm shareholders who will devote substantial time and energy to training and mentoring as well as providing exposure and counseling on the client development process. Must be a licensed attorney with a J.D. from an accredited university and 3+ years of legal experience. Should be admitted to practice in Utah, Idaho, Montana, or Nevada. Strong academic credentials and drafting skills are essential. Must have prior experience at a regional or national law firm, or an exceptional local firm. Should possess strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity, keen attention to detail, and a willingness to accept significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment. Must have experience with, or interest in, counseling clients on federal, state, and local tax issues. The ability to manage multiple projects in collaboration with the partners and senior associates is needed. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills; good judgment, responsiveness, and perseverance. Strong intellectual curiosity is required. Must be self-motivated with a commitment to client service and team success.
