Associate Attorney The candidate will act as general counsel for non-profit corporations in areas including litigation, fair housing, bankruptcy, corporate governance, contract review, and enforcement. All aspects of civil litigation. Prepare correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, property owners, and court. Collaborate with office staff to ensure high-quality work products. Must have 2 years of litigation experience and working knowledge of court rules and procedures; thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at multi-tasking; excellent organizational, follow-up, and calendar management skills; exceptional attention to detail; first-rate writing skills; interest in providing an outstanding level of customer service and building close client relationships. Must be self-motivated with a robust work ethic; able to work a standard workweek, Monday-Friday; a current member of the Washington State Bar Association in good standing; able to pivot to accommodate multiple and changing priorities; depending on prior experience, the initial focus of this position will be acting as general counsel for community associations and/or litigation counsel. Some collections and foreclosure work may be required.
