Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate will communicate with clients to gather information and documentation; investigate and document pertinent information; file no-fault application and disability/lost wage claims; handle property damage claims; monitor client's progress; secure medical records and bills; prepare demand letters; and maintain excellent client contact. Calendar and observe all statute dates and deadlines; schedule discovery such as depositions; file and serve legal pleadings and documents; and maintain contact with opposing counsel. Should have 3-5 years of Plaintiff's personal injury experience. Extensive client interaction and attention to detail on a heavy case load. Able to handle a file from pre-suit to trial with working knowledge of New York No-Fault Law, New York Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.
