Legal Assistant/Paralegal The candidate will be primarily responsible for transcribing dictation from the attorneys to create, revise and finalize correspondence and legal documents, which requires a strong attention to detail. Responsibilities will include: Transcribing digital dictation files to create and edit correspondence and legal documents in Word Perfect. Preparing and editing charts in Excel and documents in Adobe Acrobat. Internet and file research to complete documents and charts, including Clerks of Court, Property Appraisers, Secretaries of State, and general internet searching as needed. Drafting estate planning documents including Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney. Drafting corporate documents including Operating Agreements, Leases. Strict adherence to office procedures of correspondence and document preparation. AA or BA Degree preferred. FRP or other paralegal certification preferred. Must have 1+ year of office experience.
