Legal Secretary/Receptionist The candidate will be responsible for supporting attorneys by performing a variety of administrative duties, including drafting legal correspondence, answering phones and greeting visitors and communicating with attorneys, clients and court personnel. Transcribe and proofread legal documents. Typing, preparing and modifying documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails using Microsoft Office products; General clerical duties including photocopying, scanning, faxing and mailing. Filing legal documents with the appropriate court.
REQUIREMENTS: Experience as a legal secretary. Familiarity with legal documents and terminology. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to work with legal technology (transcription software, etc.). Outstanding time-management and typing skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong sense of discretion. Attention to detail and accuracy. Teamwork.
