Insurance Attorney The candidate must have 2+ years of experience in a transactional practice, including captive insurance, corporate, or healthcare. The position generally involves the structuring, formation, and general representation of captive insurance companies and other alternative risk financing programs as well as associated insurance regulatory, tax, corporate, and policy interpretation services for such insurance companies. Must have significant experience in drafting and document review, excellent credentials, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, willingness to travel regularly within and outside of the US, and a solid rationale for practicing law in Michigan. Transactional experience in the insurance or healthcare industry is helpful. Should have graduated with a 3.4 grade point average or have been in the Top 15% of law school class. Law review or law journal experience is preferred.
