Legal Secretary The candidate will work in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Accountability as a team player in a complex and diverse litigation practice. Maintain calendars and schedules, manage client files and documents and enter attorney time. Heavy involvement in document-intensive and challenging business litigation cases. Document review and document management, as well as assisting attorneys in hearing, motion and trial preparation. Requires flexibility in work schedule and commitment of time to accomplish substantive tasks. Handle extensive projects requiring both basic and advanced Microsoft Excel competencies (entering data, creating formulas and charts). 5 years or more of legal secretary experience with a preference to complex litigation required. Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word, and above-average proficiency in Microsoft Excel required. Outstanding proofreading, spelling and grammar skills are a must. Strong communication skills required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
