Estate Administration Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys, other paralegals and firm members with all aspects of estate administration and trust administration work including: Communication with clients; Marshaling, organizing and analyzing asset information; Preparation of probate court forms and correspondence; Preparation of inventories and asset transfer documents; Researching and drafting certificate of transfers and deeds and supporting documents; Drafting probate pleadings, including fiduciary accountings; Assisting with Estate and Gift Tax return preparation. Paralegal Certification from an ABA approved program is preferred. Should have ability to review and understand information from bank, brokerage and other financial statements. Familiarity with local court rules and procedures is essential. Should be proficient with MS Word, Excel, Office, and Probate software. Experience in estate and trust administration matters is required. A Paralegal Certificate is required. 1-4 or more years of related experience is required. A four year degree is preferred.
