This position is ideal for an experienced, N.C. licensed, family law attorney with significant litigation experience. The successful candidate will be highly organized, a multi-tasker, driven and have a strong desire to work within a team setting with different personalities. ## Responsibilities * Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and appeals * Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents * Advise clients on legal matters, including legal rights and obligations * Negotiate settlements with opposing parties * Analyze and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for clients * Research and investigate facts to determine causes of action * Prepare and present evidence, arguments, and legal theories in court * Monitor changes in legislation and advise clients of their implications ## Qualifications * Must be a N.C. licensed attorney * 3+ years of experience in family law * Strong litigation experience * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Highly organized and a multi-tasker * Excellent writing, research, and communication skills * Ability to work independently and within a team setting ## Salary and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year, and is negotiable depending upon experience.
