Associate Attorney: Personal Injury and Immigration Law The candidate will be responsible for handling juvenile petitions, political asylum, removal defense, appellate work, legal brief writing and family-based immigration visa petitions. Should be experienced and comfortable appearing in Connecticut State Courts and willing to appear in federal immigration courts. Requires own transportation. Salary commensurate with experience. Must be self-starter and comfortable working independently. Must be willing to travel and comfortable working occasional long hours. Should have good customer service and friendly, compassionate client contact. Cover letter is required outlining your experience and providing an outline of how you feel you can contribute and provide value to the law firm. Teamwork and collaboration are essential to our success. Must be comfortable working within a team as well as independently. 2 years or previous legal clinic work in immigration, civil trial practice or a similar area is required.
