Bankruptcy Attorney The candidate will draft motions and other filings related to real estate bankruptcy. Attend hearings and court appearances on behalf of the law firm. Communicate with clients, internal staff and others to ensure cases are handled appropriately. Review Legal Notices and other legal documents for form and correctness. Prioritize and manage an assigned portfolio of work at a fast pace on a high volume of files, with a great attention to detail. Perform quality control reviews of staff work; and Demonstrate a proficiency in inputting and maintaining information into a case management system to ensure data integrity. Should be an organized and detail oriented, a superior communicator (both oral and written communications are key to our practice), who is capable of multitasking effectively and who works well in a group or individually. Must be MD barred; DC or VA is a plus. 2 years' experience preferred, but recently licensed attorneys with relevant background are also encouraged to apply. Should have experience representing mortgage servicers or general real estate or litigation experience will be given priority consideration.
