Law Firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join the Property Owners Association (POA) Practice. This individual will be responsible for performing legal research, fact investigation, and preparation of legal documents. The Associate Attorney must have a Juris Doctorate and at least two years of experience in real estate litigation, property owners association law, deed restriction and/or lien enforcement matters. Essential Functions: * Oversee/review pleadings, motions, discovery, etc. relating to the firm's clients in both deed restriction enforcement and collection litigation, counseling and transactional matters as assigned; * Oversee and manage high volume pre-litigation and litigation docket; * Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials. * Client interaction/development. * Help coordinate workflow and supervise paralegals. * As needed, work with POA Shareholders and/or Associate attorneys and staff in other firm offices. Requirements: * Juris Doctorate. * 2+ years of experience in real estate litigation, property owners association law, deed restriction and/or lien enforcement matters preferred. * Experience in both litigation and transactional matters a plus. * Problem solving/analysis. * Communication Proficiency. * Ethical Conduct. * Time Management. * Teamwork orientation. * Initiative. * Strategic Thinking. * Business Acumen. * Thoroughness. * Presentation Skills.
