Part-Time Family Law Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for draft pleadings; draft motions; calendar events; serve discovery and assist with facilitating answers to discovery with clients. Conduct research to support legal proceedings. Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents. Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes. Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Record and store client information.
The candidate must have 3+ years of previous experience as a Family Law paralegal. Should possess a Paralegal Certificate. Must have familiarity with legal research. Should have ability to Draft and file Legal Documents for Family Law Cases. Must have ability to prioritize and multitask. Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Deadline and detail-oriented is required. Must be a self starter. Must be able to multitask. Must get along well with others. Must be open to receiving instruction.. Must be organized.
