Estate Administration Paralegal Duties: Reviewing & Drafting important legal documents, such as Deeds, Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and similar tools, as well as court filings. Serving as a case manager for estate administration and estate/fiduciary litigation cases. Assisting the Attorney with Client Communications and Case Management. Interaction with clients on a daily basis that is professional, courteous, and empathetic. Assistance with managing billing. Qualifications: High level of ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. High accuracy and attention to detail, with strong analytical skills. Research skills, including public records searches and legal research. Experience in drafting, editing, and proofreading legal documents. Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven team environment. Ability to work independently, proactively, innovatively, and creatively while exercising sound judgment. Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and Google Apps skills. Experience working with practice management software. Active Notary or ability to become notary public. Preferential consideration will be given to candidates with more than three years of experience in relevant practice areas. Required 2+ years of experience working in a law firm in a relevant field of law. Required to have and maintain a valid driver's license and notary certification. Required to be willing to undergo a background check.
