Responsibilities * Develop and implement legal strategies necessary to represent clients in a variety of workers compensation matters. * Prepare legal memoranda, discovery requests and responses, pleadings and briefs. * Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, client meetings and other legal proceedings. * Analyze, interpret, synthesize and summarize legal documents, opinions, precedents and regulations. * Monitor, track and maintain calendars related to deadlines, hearings, and other important dates. * Work collaboratively with other attorneys, staff and clients. * Maintain professional relationships with clients, court personnel and other attorneys. * Provide excellent legal representation to clients. Requirements * Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited university. * Active member in good standing with the California Bar. * 2+ years of experience in all aspects of workers compensation. * Excellent communication, writing and negotiation skills. * Strong work ethic and be self-motivated and detail-oriented.
