Join this dynamic, large Connecticut firm that specializes in representing high tech and Internet companies in the areas of corporate law, litigation, and IP. The firm also has a strong trusts and estates practice that represents many high net worth individuals. Associates are treated well, and they receive interesting work and good formal and informal training. The firm is now looking to hire more first-class attorneys from top schools and firms.
Floating Legal Secretary/Word Processor The candidate will be responsible for document creation by transcribing, formatting, editing, retrieving, converting, copying and scanning. Document assembly, binders and large mailings. Transmitting text, data and graphics via email, flash drives and eFiling. Creation of charts and other visual documents. Greeting and seating clients for visiting attorneys. Witnessing or notarizing documents for visiting attorneys. Providing floating secretarial support as needed. Providing word processing help desk support for attorneys and staff in Adobe and Microsoft Office applications. The candidate should preferably have 1 year of trust and estate experience. Must have strong Microsoft Word skills, and competency working in Excel and other Office applications. Detail oriented, organized, and management of an ever-changing flow of assignments. Organization and prioritizing skills required.
