Entry-Level Social Security Paralegal DUTIES: Assisting clients in navigating the initial stages of a Social Security claim. May be called upon to assist in other departments within our company. Speaking with clients. Inputting client information into our database. Corresponding with clients via phone, email, chat, and text. Scheduling appointments with clients. Conducting regular correspondence with clients and provide them with updates on the status of their case. Maintaining client confidentiality. Entering and updating client information in our computer system. Organizing and completing necessary documentation, monitoring case statuses, and assisting clients. Communicating with the Social Security Administration on behalf of our clients. Filing appeals and other necessary paperwork for Social Security cases. Completing basic administrative responsibilities such as making telephone calls, drafting emails, sending mail and scanning documents. QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working with Microsoft Office programs. Must be able to pass a typing test with 30 wpm. Must be able to successfully complete and pass each phase or out in-house training program. Positive attitude and the willingness to go above and beyond for our clients and team. Personable, with excellent communication and customer service skills. Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable interacting with clients, team members and attorneys. Strong phone and computer skills. Strong attention to detail. Team player. Able to stay focused and organized. Able to learn on-the-job and think on feet. Able to meet strict deadlines. Experience working with Microsoft Office programs.
