Litigation Associate Attorney The candidate will independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end. Represent clients in a wide range of civil defense litigation claims. Work closely with Partners on legal projects. Regularly handle court appearances and conduct depositions. Communicate with clients and provide status reports. JD from an accredited law school required. Admitted to practice in the state of Mississippi required. 2+ years of defense litigation experience required. Experience handling commercial litigation, premises liability, transportation, insurance coverage and insurance defense matters required. Superior communication, writing, and research skills required. Experience handling discovery and motions required. Experience handling court appearances and depositions required. Legal project management experience is helpful.
