Paralegal/Legal Assistant - Family Law The candidate will be responsible to initial client intake, file creation and organization and prepare and e-file documents. Assist in calendar events and Attorney meetings with monthly invoicing and collections. Should be Undergraduate degree and/or Paralegal Certificate desirable. Must have 3-5 years' experience in Family Law or similar litigation . Should have proven knowledge of Florida legal practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary to effectively communicate and/or negotiate with clients, attorneys, agents, and the general public. Demonstrated leadership capabilities to effectively train, coach, and provide feedback. Must have Analytical skills used to make independent decisions and resolve conflict; coordinate the handling of cases involving serious and sometimes complex issues. Exceptional oral and written communication skills with clients, attorneys, parents, related professionals and the general public. Organizational skills to effectively establish work priorities, and take direction from the Attorneys. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs, Adobe Acrobat, Practice Panther, and/or other practice management software.
