Commercial Real Estate Paralegal The candidate will prepare documents for large commercial loans and acquisitions, including loan agreements, notes, security deeds and mortgages, estoppel certificates, buy-sell agreements, indemnification agreements, releases, etc. Will analyze and review title and survey documents and prepare necessary documents to correct or clear title. Coordinate closing logistics to include preparation of closing checklists, execution and recordation of appropriate documents and organize complex transactional files. Coordinate post-closing follow-up including recording documents, wiring funds, organizing files and preparation of closing documents binders. Perform legal research for real estate law practice and procedures, including form execution and acknowledgement of real estate documents. Maintain positive relationships with firm attorneys, co-counsel, clients and vendors. Keep accurate time records. Observe confidentiality of client matters. Should preferably have four-year undergraduate degree and/or a paralegal certificate (ABA approved school preferred). Should also possess outstanding organization skills. Coordinate post-closing follow-up including recording documents, wiring funds, obtaining necessary cancellation documents, organizing and indexing files and overseeing preparation of closing documents binders. Perform legal research pertaining to multi-state real estate law practice and procedures, proper form execution and acknowledgement of real estate documents for domestic and out of state properties.
