Associates are allowed to choose the practice areas and specific assignments that interest them, and they will be challenged with responsibility and client contact.
Legal Secretary - Intellectual Property Litigation The candidate will support Intellectual Property attorneys and paralegals in connection with all aspects of case management of trademark and patent litigation matters. Will transcribe, type, proofread and finalize legal documents, correspondence, memos, reports, address as per firm policy or instructions from legal staff. Copy and organize large volume of documents, memos, reports and other materials as required. Maintain electronic files of court filings, discovery, correspondence, and attorney materials for complex litigation matters. Electronically file documents with the federal courts and Patent and Trademark Office. Maintain and enter time charges into the billing system. Update calendars, schedule meetings and conferences. Other duties as assigned. Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Should have 3-5 years of administrative assistant experience. Must have exceptional technical skills required including knowledge of MS Word and Adobe Professional. Must have excellent grammar and speaking skills, and the ability to multitask are essential.
