Make extensive use of web based case management software to keep all cases current and up to date. Track case milestones and deadlines and proactively report on any potential delays or timeline risks to the Managing Attorney. Prepare, format, and proofread case documents. Perform online research for immigration matters. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, JD Degree, and be licensed in a U.S. jurisdiction (preferably California). 3+ years of experience practicing business immigration in a high-volume environment. Must have experience directly liasing with clients, including foreign nationals and HR/Corporate. Experience managing complex issues and relaying those concepts in an easy to understand format to clients. Comfortable managing caseloads from case inception (assessment) through to case decisions/approvals. Exceptional organizational skills. Excellent grammar and spelling. Exceptional oral and written communication. Professional attitude and demeanor. Preferred/Bonus Qualifications: Substantive expertise in understanding the rules for filing PERMs and responding to audits. Expertise managing a team of paralegals or legal assistants.
