Draft litigation complaints, discovery responses, preparation mediation notebooks, depo prep, hearing prep and trial preparation. Qualifications: Experience is a must in all aspects of pre-litigation. Litigation is helpful but we are willing to train an exceptional pre-litigation candidate. Leadership and Management of staff. Remind Attorney of deadlines and complete same within case management program. Works collaboratively with assigned attorneys in preparing legal documentation and/or processing transactions. Interviews clients; locates and interviews expert witnesses. Drafts legal documents including but not limited to discovery, motions, summary judgment motions, appellate briefs, affidavits, memoranda, and letters. Investigates factual information to respond to litigation discovery requests or other information inquiries. Manages cases and files; organizes and maintains files. Assists in all phases of case preparation including discovery and trial. Prepares for and attends trials. Prepares jury instructions and trial binders; coordinates trial exhibits. Provides general logistical help and supports the maintenance of legal files. Assists in development and implementation of office systems and procedures as needed. Assists with special projects as assigned. Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bi Lingual English/Spanish Excellent grammatical and spelling skills. Proficient on Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Experience with Client Profiles/Aderant Total Office is a plus. Commitment to excellence and high standards. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow. Strong interpersonal skills.
