Job Title: Personal Injury Paralegal Overview Law Firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join their team. The role is critical to ensuring the best possible outcome for the clients and will be responsible for communicating with clients, monitoring their medical treatment and status, and properly moving cases in a timely fashion. Responsibilities * Proactively communicate with clients to keep them updated on the progress of their case and document all conversations * Provide accurate and consistent information to clients regarding possible issues with gaps in treatment, over and under-treatment, etc. * Manage client cases to include: identifying and confirming insurance coverages, communication with adjusters, obtaining medical records and bills, confirming client information, lost wages, health insurance, etc., and making medical referrals as needed. * Summarize medical records. * Prepare demand package for attorney review prior to submission to the insurance company. * Handle a high volume of cases, ensuring cases move through the process in a timely manner, while ensuring exceptional client service. Requirements * Associate degree * At least two years'experience handling complex personal injury cases as a paralegal in a personal injury law firm or as an adjuster * Solid understanding of insurance coverages * Highly organized and able to prioritize work * Outstanding communication skills * Ability to quickly build rapport with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and attorneys * Spanish-speaking skills a plus * Enjoy helping people Salary and Benefits Law Firm offers competitive pay, health, dental and vision insurance effective 1st of the month following date of hire, base life insurance paid by the firm plus supplemental option, short-term and long-term disability paid by the firm, 401(k) with match, PTO, plus holidays and paid volunteer time off.
