Corporate/ Transactional Paralegal Duties: Assists attorneys in the delivery of legal services to the firms clients and works under the direction of the firms lawyers and, in many instances, directly with clients. Responsibilities for client work are directed by an attorney. A key part of our professional client teams and this position allows a candidate to assume significant responsibility for transactions and offers opportunities for professional growth. Develop and maintain positive relationships with the firms clients, title insurance companies, closing agents, administrative agencies, and other outside vendors. Perform administrative responsibilities assigned by the practice area or department chair. Examples include disseminating changes in the codes, statutes, regulations and procedures to others in the firm and maintaining current files of forms used in the assigned practice area. Requirements: A bachelors degree or equivalent is preferred. Must have paralegal certificate in the appropriate jurisdiction.
