Paralegal, Corporate/ELBI

Title : Paralegal, Corporate/ELBI

Location : California - San Diego
Refer to Job # DMFG723120

Though the Los Angeles office of this full-service litigation firm continues to specialize in complex insurance litigation coverage, the firm’s main office has recently tried to cash in on the technology litigation market to “bring some growth to the firm.” The transition has not been an easy one; the firm has had an unusually high attrition rate in recent years (insiders tell us some associates left to pursue government jobs but many departed for better money with different firms). However, while salaries remain slightly below market, many observers think the firm is capable of breaking through.
Paralegal, Corporate/ELBI Responsibilities : The candidate will support the transactional practices of corporate/tax and employment attorneys. Will manage corporation, LLC, partnership and entity formation matters and drafting of basic documents and preparing employment applications, agreements, handbooks, policies, and employment-related forms using templates and samples, as well as the creation of case management binders, chronologies and leave-of-absence documentation. Requirements : The candidate will have a Paralegal Certificate with 2 -3 years experience. Should have background in Human Resources is a plus. Should have strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects. Proven analytical ability and detail orientation. Skilled in drafting policies, forms, and charts and maintaining reference libraries of forms, templates, and samples to assist with efficient drafting of documents. Creative problem-solving skills and strong client-service orientation. Legal 2 - 3 Full Time 0000-00-00 00:00:00
