Immigration Attorney The candidate will be responsible for performing intake and assessing matters for potential clients, identifying avenues to obtain or preserve lawful status and/or pursue relief from removal, including representation of criminal and/or detained noncitizens, as well as developing and implementing strategies to protect and defend immigrants before USCIS, DOS and litigation before the immigration courts, BIA and federal courts. Strong experience in family-based immigration and removal defense (including representation of detained aliens, asylum seekers, crime and trafficking victims, juveniles), and/or immigration-related litigation. Spanish language is required. Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend Spanish. Excellent written/oral communication, analytical, organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment with professionalism, humor, grace and grit.
