Certification from the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) or the American Alliance Certified Paralegal (AACP) credential offered by the American Alliance of Paralegals, Inc. is highly preferred. Associates degree or Bachelor's degree preferred. Working knowledge of legal principles and practices. In depth knowledge of local, state and federal laws and regulations is essential.
