Legal Secretary, Litigation Duties: Draft, edit, proofread, and redline documents and correspondence for accuracy, grammar, and formatting. Prepare legal briefs, letters, memoranda, tables, spreadsheets, complaints and motions File with State and Federal Courts (including e-filing). Maintain case documents in various electronic databases. Organize and maintain paper and electronic files in accordance with Firm records retention policies. Maintain dockets for each attorney and send reminders as necessary. Maintain pleading files. Prepare documents via mail, messenger or e-delivery. Process the intake of new clients, create client files, search and print reports. Organize and maintain attorney contacts and calendars, including travel logistics and scheduling.
