Temporary - Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for assisting with preparation of pleadings and discovery. Editing and finalizing litigation documents in accordance with the firm's standards. Calendaring court dates/deadlines. Scheduling meetings, depositions, mediations, and other appointments as necessary. Filing documents in State and Federal Courts, including e-filing. Performing research through Westlaw and/or other research materials. Cite-checking pleadings. Organizing pleadings and exhibits for filings. Providing overall attorney support. Must have excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong knowledge of calendaring deadlines (motions, subpoenas, discovery, etc.) is necessary. Strong knowledge of court rules and procedures, both State and Federal is critical. Strong knowledge of electronic filing in both State and Federal court via One Legal and CM/ECF is required. 2 years of litigation experience Employment litigation is a plus.
